Love Innkeeper, thanks for the update.

Yes, I’m a bad, bad, greedy member of the BDH. I’ll always want more, more, more. What is the back story on the older vampire in the child care area? What are George and team doing these days? Why can’t Maude’s story be the start of a trilogy? Sigh. Your stories are so great you’ll always leave me wanting more. In the meantime I’ll plan to post READ NOW notices on social media so Innkeepers can catch up with Kate.

But, yes, it makes Friday’s really fun. And, yes, I’m appreciative and very thankful that you share the story with us! You rock!

A trilogy would be lovely. Maybe Interlaced with Dina and Sean, and maybe Helens POV? How does she see other kids? Does she feel responsible for them because they are so clueless at self protection? Will she teach them? Will she get in trouble for it? She is the only “weapons master” their size who can actually spar with them. Does she carry a longer blade down her spine? I wonder how many holdout blades she has for if someone disarms her. She told her Aunt Dina that she was sneaky. Just when the bad guys thought they had her rendered harmless, she’s baack.
she also knows about the potential Kozor attempted take over. If they try to get the nursery, I can see her being the last guardian to go down. I wonder if Dilki might introduce her to the concept of aerial combat watching her guards. There sound to be Decorative perching points a lighter weight person might use for a sneak attack. Could she ride a tachi if they needed to rescue her or needed a trojan horse/distraction in the form of an innocent looking child. so many possibilities

I have to say, this is the first time I’ve followed one of these installment stories as they have come out week by week and it’s very exciting AND frustrating!
But thank you so much for allowing us on the ride!

Many many thanks…and can I say, yay to all the writing threads!! Kate, Innkeeper, Hugh, even the wee taste of the ole Edge series via George in the Innkeeper chronicles… as a reader, thank you for the stories… old friends I get to revisit and see how they’ve grown!

I read this before I read, (Maud, tub, Arlen, & Mommm)
I just finished that . . .
I get you need the kids (bdh) to stop whining…
executive decisions, pros, cons, & all that
we’re tired of the robots & the machine crank factories trying to convince us that for 99 cents here’s something worth reading AND yeah we got bills & kids & stuff
But jumpen jehosephat, people hear us
Food, shelter, shoes, the tales you tell, the stories you share, the way you write AND summers coming
I only need flip flops if I have to walk on hot asphalt

I love all the books, short stories, snippets….
I take what I can get…. and I am gratefull…. and it doesn’t matter how much they cost…. as an addict I am willing to pay all most any price….

I have all of Kate’s adventures, paper and electronic, ditto the Edge series. I didn’t know about the artwork until the first Innkeeper electronic version. It’s nice, but not necessary for my enjoyment of the writing. Keep up your good work, we do appreciate it. I will practice patience and wish you good health, enough wealth for your family’s needs and wants and time to write for those of us who cannot.

I have reread innkeeper and am rereading On the Edge. I’m assuming that George and Jack are the same as the Edge series. If so are the inns in “the broken”. If so how does George and Jack keep their magic. Am I over thinking things…
April 19, 2018 at 9:41 pm
It’s indicated in one of the books that George and Jack’s world is in a pocket universe, sort of an alternate dimension (this is explained when George and Dina go get Sophie). As for keeping their magic, that’s a good question. My assumption is that the magic and talent lies within them. George has always given a part of himself for his Magic. I don’t think it’s any different here on Earth.

How many handheld books are there in the Innkeeper Chronicles and what are they? I have 2, I think, One Fell Sweep and Clean Sweep.
April 19, 2018 at 9:43 pm
Sweep in Peace is the missing book out of that trilogy.

So when is Dina going to check on her sister and niece? At least go for a shopping trip for school clothes or for insights on current hotel issues

I freely admit to being a re-reader. With this I re-read every section over again after a new one is posted. With the other series I’ll read the entire series with each new book or just because. Once this is published, long, short, series or not I’ll keep reading it again and enjoying it everytime. Thank you for doing what you do, the world is so much more enjoyable for it.

Ditto but I also have paper copies for when technology goes to help in a shift!!

Thank you so much for letting us read the Innkeeper series as you are writing it, I read (and enjoy) all of your series, but Innkeeper is my favorite. I particularly am enjoying the current one and will definitely be buying it when it comes out in paper – when I want to reread a book, Kindle doesn’t cut it.
I would love it if you would turn the Gerald and Helen story into a book . . .

Completely off topic and not about this (excellent) story …. I seem to remember reading an origin story of the Innkeeper Chronicles. Am I thinking of soms other story and mixing it up or was there a story about Dina meeting het Inn for the first time? I’ve been looking at anthologies and through old E-readers/files but might be mistaken. If so possibly an interesting idea for the future 🙂

When will the next installment of Sweep of the Blade come out? I’m trying to be patient, I know ‘life happens’, but I’ve been waiting since April 13th.

It is supposed to be in May. Illona posted a note in the blog why the delay.

I am a fine of KD and await the new installment of the series coming out. With that being said, I also like the inn keeper chronicles. Each time I search for a new posting I tend to read the last one again. But I also buy the books when they come out and reread it. Thank you for your generosity.
