I wonder if the test will be on Friday- with the new chapter.
Maybe as some of us start going off track- if we post a topic that corresponds to that track and let folk know that there is a thread up for it in the forum to continue musings if folk like.
Do you think that could work to get the continued comments onto the forum and off the main comments section?
Admittedly, without the follow comments functionality- it means that you have to work a bit more to follow a conversations, so it may not feel like a conversation as naturally as the comments on the chapters. So that may change the results a bit.May 9, 2018 at 11:29 pm #522
Well it’s not yet midnight for you in USA but Simon is in England where it’s 5:30am so he’s probably asleep – as I should be – so sweet dreams folks.May 9, 2018 at 11:42 pm #523
True. I’m only up for work now, the danger of checking the comments section before going to work has always been in nearly being late leaving the house :).
Night Joan.May 10, 2018 at 2:23 am #528
@Sivi – that’s what I would think would work, but we won’t know till we try.
@Joan – I’m up, because I’ve been working all day. I just adore (please read HEAVY sarcasm into this) putting my label, backer board, photo print, poly bag, and price sticker on inventory. It’s so much FUN! Plus maintaining a master inventory list with prices too, so I can cross compare later, and track any theft loss. Which sadly does happen.
So checking for some distraction to break up the tedium is keeping me sane. But exhaustion has finally caught up with me, so I’m turning in as soon as I verify a re-supply order processed. Tomorrow I get to unpack and re-pack stuff to consolidate it based on what specific items I’m taking to Friday’s art festival. I reconfigure what goes based on the setting, duration of the festival, and anticipated demographic of the crowds.
At least I’ll have (barring unforeseen circumstances) the next installment featuring of Maud’s Adventures in Hip Rolling to read during any lull time at the Festival.May 10, 2018 at 12:15 pm #531
Good luck at the festival, and I hope you sell a whole bunch of your pictures!May 10, 2018 at 3:12 pm #536
I’m in the UK, but I can’t always work out the various nationalities of the various posters.
– and I have to admit, I’m not as fanatical a commenter as many of the BDH seem to be…. I stalk instead.. 🙂May 10, 2018 at 5:10 pm #543
Hi guys! It will be interesting to see what happens after the next chapter is posted. For the chapter itself, naturally! 😀 But also to see how posting on this forum works out. It may need some shake down time, but I think it’s a very good idea.May 10, 2018 at 10:11 pm #544

@Nelson – Thanks! It’s a first year festival so there’s no telling how it’ll be. I’m hoping for the best. 🤞May 11, 2018 at 8:24 am #555
Good Friyeah checking in and refreshing for that next fix…I mean chapter.May 11, 2018 at 8:30 am #557
I know the feeling Elgenor The website says it’s Friday at 8.30 am but where I am its Friday at 2.30pm I probably won’t get my fix till this evening maybe not even till tomorrow.May 11, 2018 at 12:16 pm #563
Well, where I am it’s now 7.14 PM. I forgot to check last week (or more accurately, didn’t realise it was May so there was a chance for a chapter), and it was a pleasant surprise to find a chapter on Saturday morning.
Now I’m back to my regularly scheduled refreshing and hovering over the site, though… LOL!!
