I like both.May 11, 2018 at 2:18 am #549
I can go either way. No longer can drink soda as it is too sweet and I am allergic to aspertame. I do like the ritual of a nice cup of 🍵 tea in the evening. It is relaxing and seems to give my body the sign that it is time to 🛏. The sad thing is that the caffeine has no apparent affect on me. I can drink a pot of coffee and go to sleep. My brother told me I must not be related to him.May 11, 2018 at 5:34 pm #584
Tea for me. I’m allergic to coffee so that makes it simple….May 11, 2018 at 8:49 pm #586
Coffee always. At least one cup a day, mostly two. Tea, late in the day as long as isn’t a strong black.I had some Hibiscus White tea recently. It had a very smooth flavor.May 12, 2018 at 4:00 am #592
Tea, offcourse tea!
Why anybody likes coffee is still a mysterie to me.
Though I’m really peculiar in how I drink my tea. No strong English ones wich you have to drink with milk. No strange, sweet fruity tea’s either.
No, you make me happy with a light French Vervène or a light grean tea.
And if you want to really make me happy you serve it with a smile and good company. Or a new Innkeeper chapter. Can never go wrong with thatMay 12, 2018 at 4:15 am #594
I’m a Brit – so yes both in their correct places … and wine obviously 🙂May 12, 2018 at 5:48 pm #599
Any other votes for sachlav?
That’s my main comfort drink.
Or, for celebrations, rootbeer floats. <3
My grandmother had an old set of steins that she used to pull out and make rootbeer floats in, on holidays (in deference to family members whose precarious health meant medication that did not allow for the more traditional alcoholic celebratory drink).
It rather caught on, and now it’s nostalgic as well as delicious.May 12, 2018 at 5:51 pm #600
(We know someone who would argue for mellow yellow, but that’s not something I’ve ever had the (pleasure?) adventure of tasting)May 18, 2018 at 3:47 pm #642
Coffee, with various adult additives and adulterations.May 18, 2018 at 8:41 pm #646
I can’t stand the smell of coffee, but I love tea. Not Lipton, yuck, how did that ever get popular?
I have a large variety of loose leaf teas as well as at least a dozen different kinds of tea bags for work. Mint of course is for the vampires, a red tea like Rooibos could be what they had during the peace summit. Something elegant and classic like Earl Grey for George maybe.
There are so many different varieties to play with.May 18, 2018 at 9:55 pm #652
Neither. Hot chocolate all the way. 🙂May 18, 2018 at 11:03 pm #655
I have the same problem with caffeine as I have a high tolerance since I’m a night person. There is an app on androids for white noise that is awesomeMay 19, 2018 at 9:12 am #659
Cafe mocha for morning, green tea for afternoon (unless more coffee is a definite requirement), herbal tea (variety depending upon mood) anytime after 4pm.May 19, 2018 at 11:52 am #661
Percolated or boiled over drip, with half and half and dusting of cinnamon or cocoa powder.
Always brewed over instant, preferably with loose leaf or pyramid bags. Black, Green, Herbal; love them all.May 21, 2018 at 5:14 pm #667
COFFEE, brewed strong enough to get up and walk to me – otherwise it’s just brown water.
High quality coffee- because life is too short to drink sh°t coffee.
